Mutual Aid Groups

Alcoholics Anonymous A.A.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a worldwide fellowship for those that want to stop drinking alcohol. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; they are self-supporting through members’ own contributions.

SMART Recovery


SMART recovery is a programme of mutual aid drug and alcohol users in recovery supporting each other. They take a different approach to the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.
