The Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT). This resource combines AUDIT C and the remaining AUDIT questions to help you identify someone's drinking pattern and risk level.

Unit Calculator

The Unit Calculator is a simple sheet to use with people alongaside AUDIT to identify the number of units someone drinks. It includes 'the maths' to to work the number of units in their favourite drink.

Simple Advice Leaflet for Adults

NEW updated version with 2016 Chief Medical Officer Guidelines on safe drinking limits.

This is the new Simple Advice Leaflet for Adults - 'Up for changing things a bit?'.

Use this as part of delivering a 10 minute brief intervention once you have completed AUDIT.

Brief Lifestyle Intervention

This is the new Brief Lifestyle Intervention for adults.

Use this to help you to deliver a 45 minute extended brief intervention. This gives a framework to enable a plan to be created with your client on how they can make changes to their alcohol use.

Drinking Diary

The drinking diary helps somone record what they are drinking, the number of units and when and where they drink.

It is a tool to enhance a persons motivation to make changes and help them begin to set goals for themselves, with your help.
